A few years back, a stunning client, in a whirlwind, transitioned from stylish city professional, to stay at home mom.
During her first pregnancy, out of necessity, her beloved wardrobe of designer dresses and heels, which we had carefully curated over the years, were abandoned to the dark corners of her closet.
So she has reached out again for another image, wardrobe, identity & closet makeover, 'the works' in her words.
Although Loubitan and Blahnik are no longer in her vocabulary, her vibrant red lipstick is the one thing that she's maintained. Red has always been her favorite, most flattering lip color. Most days, she doesn't have time for anything else. (continued below)
She has inadvertently discovered a key component of her signature style via red lipstick. Although super simple, quick, and easy to do, red lipstick completely transforms her image, and lifts her mood.
For Vogue editor, Anna Wintour, a chic bob and sunglasses have become her trademarks. Cara Delegingne is known for her two piece trouser suits. Hats are Pharrell Williams' signature style.
Is there one thing in your wardrobe or makeup kit that you couldn't live without? What's your signature style?

Bali fashion tip - Bring a sarong, wrap or coverup to the pool or beach. The lovely culture here is modest.
In chic Seminyak, going directly to my room from the pool, I didn't expect to see anyone, but a hotel staff noticed me and I could see that he was flustered.
Later when I asked, it was explained that a sarong or even just a towel should be used to cover up. Although I think everything depends on there area.
Now I'm staying in a gorgeous villa by the beach in Canggu, a hippie surfer town. Lots of girls walk from the beach in swimwear. (Also, everyone here rides scooters without a helmet, which will get you pulled aside and fined in most parts of Bali)
In this photo, coming directly from the beach to the spa, I brought a long dress to wear over my bikini.
The atmosphere and beauty of this room is a lot more magical than the pictures, which is also true for the amazing island.
With five star spas everywhere, Bali is the ideal place to reboot and set goals. During this trip, I'll be meeting with a former student of my Wardrobe Therapy training in NY for a consultation.

If you know you won't have time for your hair but have a couple of hours before your event, try this:
1. lightly mist hair with mineral water or hair spray
2 comb or brush hair.
3. put up in a bun using clips or pins
4. take down after 2 hours and you should have gorgeous hair like Nicole's in this photo.

Kick off the warm weather witth a sheer, chiffony dress, a natural toned fedora for sun protection, and comfy tan boots to stomp around in.
